Facility Information & Rules

Peter Johansen High School and Don Gonslaves Stadium are operated by the City of Modesto Schools.

• NO pop-up tents in the throwing areas
• Free parking is available in lots on both sides of the stadium.
• Food vendor(s) will be available.
• No BBQ grills in the stadium, around campus, or in the parking lots.
• NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING, NO VAPING OF ANY KIND.
• NO pets or animals allowed. Exception for registered Service Animals
• PLEASE KEEP THE FACILITY CLEAN. Garbage cans and bags will be provided.
• Bathrooms are available on both sides of the stadium

There will be a designated tent area in the top rows of the bleachers on both sides. 

Athletes & Coaches:

• NO COACHES ALLOWED ON THE INFIELD once the meet has begun.
• Surfaces require spike length and type for a 1/4-inch pyramid.
• NO NEEDLE SPIKES. NO PIN SPIKES.
• Participants need to provide their own throwing implements.
• Starting blocks will be provided.
• Due to the number of athletes in each event:
  • Groups 5 and 6 will be combined.
  • If there is only one heat in trials, the event will be run as a final.
